Please tell war vets I can help them
- EFT dramatically helps those suffering from PTSD. I offer my services free or at a low cost to vets and their families. Like other EFT practitioners across the country, I'm having trouble relaying this message to vets and hope some of you can help me spread the word. I'm happy to answer questions and describe the process. (Also, see earlier posts, which include more information.) If vets are reticent to seek help through this alternative healing route, they only need to do some quick googling. They'll very quickly decide to try EFT.

I am offering EFT to War Veterans
EFT for War Veterans
1.53 million veterans have already served in Iraq and Afghanistan. Hundreds of thousands are returning from combat zones. An estimated 300,000 or more of them suffer from Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, or PTSD.
Please see the Find Your True Self website for more information: www.FindYourTrueSelf.com
EFT has been shown to effectively neutralize the emotional charge of traumatic situations. While the memory of the events remains, the associated fear and anguish disappear--making it much easier to continue with life. Many veterans are finding that EFT can be more effective than talk therapy in relieving trauma.
This might be because traumatic events are stored in a part of the brain that does not deal with language, but that deals with emotions.
While no one yet knows exactly why EFT works so well, we believe that EFT disrupts how negative emotional issues and past trauma are stored in the body. It allows the client to process and store the information in a new way, making these experiences easier to access in a calm and comfortable way.
Iraq War Vets Project
The Iraq War Vets Project is a program of the Soul Medicine Institute, a nonprofit research institute. In addition to offering six free EFT sessions to veterans and their families, the Project is gathering data on how EFT helps people with PTSD and other emotional traumas.
Veterans and their families are invited to participate in this study.
